Who is William Bontrager?

Short biographical profile

William Bontrager is one of today's foremost perl programmers. Will has created programs in such languages as Perl, C, C++, Pascal, Basic, Javascript and several other (database) programming languages. But it's certainly my impression that his preferred programming language is Perl.

Perl is also the language in which Will has created most of his programs and scripts.

What I really like about Will's scripts is that they he combines an understanding for marketing with his advanced programming skills. This makes his scripts very useful to many Internet entrepreneurs.

Another thing that makes Will's scripts stand out, is the fine adminstrator panels which is built-in in many of this scripts. These adminstrator panels make it really easy to use the scripts day in and day out.

• how to set up and adjust pop-ups on your web site - you get some really neat tricks here

• etc. etc.

Believe me, you get a lot here - much more than I've mentioned here.

All this information you could easily pay hundreds of dollars to get from other web sites. On Will's site you get it for free.

Will has also added several very helpful cgi-scripts, which you can download for free.

One of these scripts, is Master Pre-Installation Tester which is a really helpful script when you try to install a script. If you don't know whether you can install a particular script on your web host's servers, just install Master Pre-Installation Tester (which you should be able to install on practically every server where you can install cgi-scripts). When you've installed Master Pre-Installation Tester, you just have to open it in your browser, and you'll get a very helpful overview over the different paths, modules etc. which apply to your servers.

This is a really useful script.

And Will offers many other helpful scripts on his web site.

Will's web site - http://www.willmaster.com - is really worth a study. In my opinion it's a real goldmine for every webmaster.
