My wife and I recently ordered this system, not really knowing any better on how to differentiate the good from the bad.  It is the first marketting system that we had bought.  It came with 5 - 8.5" x 11" booklets with anywhere from 25 to 90 pages (the larger ones were actually listings of free advertising sources (ie. newspapers, radio stations, etc.), or places to get high-profit products).  The subjects were Net Secrets (internet marketing), Personal Finance (how to manage your own finances), Copy-Writing (how to write great copy (or better yet, how to COPY great copy<g>)), and the 2 booklets full of listings.  They also included a 17 day startup booklet.

The information in these brochures seemed fine - kind of light though (as might be imagined in the amount of space they used).  The problem I have with this course is that it is just a front-end for Mustang Marketting's higher end "systems"/Opportunities.  Now, I don't have a problem with back-end marketing - marketing to your customers is a great thing, but we had purchased this system to use with our current businesses, and it was totally focused on purchasing one of their opportunities (Grocery coupon booklets (initial investment $119)or internet web page designing & hosting (initial investment $2K-$3K).

When I called their "startup specialist" he did a LOT of probing into my financials (credit card balances, bank account savings, etc.) before he settled on what "goals" we would set (ie. which system we should purchase).

I didn't feel that there was anything in the original kit was unique - I have read the same things for free during my searches on the web, and the listings of radio stations/ newspapers, etc. could be gotten from the appropriate phone directory in the area you want to market in.

If you are thinking about purchasing this kit, I would look a little further - check out the info reviewed on this website (I wish I had done so BEFORE I purchased this kit).

The book is available by download after secure online purchase.

I used the book as one of my references when producing my first e-book, a large project of more than 400 pages of text, and firmly beleive that I would not yet have finished it without the focus and advice I got from this book and Scott's generous un-hyped advice by email (even before I bought his book) and in response to questions in related forums.

There is enough in this book which I had not found in the official Adobe material for me to unreservedly recommend Scott's book to anyone producing any material they intend to offer in Acrobat .pdf format

Jeff Paul is still around, working closely with mention Dan Kennedy.  He sent me a listing of his courses that he still sells including the course: How I Earn $4,000 a Day Sitting at My Kitchen Table in My Underwear!  I have that course and it is, by far, the best mail order/direct mail course I've purchased.  Anyway, Jeff Paul's e-mail address is:  arguswest@ntsource.com   You can ask him for a listing of his courses and how to purchase them.  They are well worth their weight in gold!
