Review

There's no doubt about it:

If you really want to succeed on the Internet, you need a web site.

This has been common knowledge for quite some time now.

However, the new thing is that many Internet marketers now don't have just one web site. No, they have several web sites, each of them featuring a particular product, service or something else.

This trend has become even more normal among Internet marketers as the concept of Niche Marketing has gotten a lot of attention from many marketers.

But the problem is that to a lot of people one of the most daunting online challenges is to create their own web site. They just don't know how to do it. Or rather: They don't know how to make a web site that really looks good and professional.

Or maybe they know how to create a web site, but they think the whole process is too time-consuming. And yes, the process of creating your web site from scratch can be quite time-consuming if you don't know how to do it. There's a lot of different things that have to be dealt with.

You have to be sure that your site looks nice and inviting, that your graphics look good, that the links on your site works and so on. And there are a lot of other things that you have to look after.

How do you accomplish all that?

Well, most marketers use to either hire someone to do it (can be quite expensive) or to use one of the many web editors on the market today.

The problem with the last solution is that it's often a lengthy and complicated process to use them to create your web site.

Recently I stumbled over a new software application. The name of this new software application is XSitePro.

The sales letter for XSitePro promised me that I'd be able to make a really great looking and professional web site with all the functions that you could dream of. Besides, the finished result you supposedly will get by using XSitePro. Plus, not only would the end-result look great and have a lot of features, but the search engines would also love the sites generated by XSitePro.

But best of all, the sales letter promised that I'd be able to accomplish all that in just 10 minutes!

As you can imagine, I immediately got curious.

Was the sales letter hyped? Did the company behind XSitePro promise too much?

After I first read about XSitePro, I also discovered that Neil Shearing - a famous and successful Internet marketer - uses XSitePro extensively to built a lot of profitable sites. And that, of course, made me just even more curious about this new software product.

What do you get?

XSitePro is delivered as a downloadable .exe file. After you've downloaded it, I just double-clicked the file and followed the installation process.

When I downloaded the file and then installed it, I had to fullfil a few security conditions, but except for that, the process was very straight forward.

Included with the program is also an extensive and very useful help manual and tutorial.

Works really fine

Since I've gotten XSitePro I've used it to create several test sites. So far I've been very satisfied with the results.

Once you've learned how to use XSitePro it's extremely easy to create new web sites. And when I say web sites I'm not just talking about minisites with a couple of pages or so. No, you can use XSitePro to create complete content rich sites with dozens and dozens of pages if you like.

Good overview

It's also very easy to get a good overview of all the sites and projects you're working with. The Project Selection Tree gives a good over overview of it all: You can easily view all your projects and you can read a description of each project plus see the keywords associated with each site. You can also write useful notes in connection with each project. This can be really useful if you're working with a lot of niche sites where it's easy to forget the exact details about each project.

If you want even more details about your projects, you can just open the Report Overview pane. In the window that then pops up you'll get an impressive amount of useful information about your chosen project, such as:

  • The last project modification date.
  • Number of web sites in the project.
  • Total number of web pages.
  • Project level keywords.
  • Project description.
  • Project notes.
  • The names of the web sites in your chosen project.
  • Site description.
  • Number of web pages.
  • URLs.
  • Keywords.
  • Notes.
  • Last published.
  • Last modification date of each web site.
  • An overview of all the pages that web sites are made up of.
  • The file names, keywords, descriptions and last modification dates of all your individual pages.

You can also print out your Report Overviews or refresh them anytime in order to get an overview of the latest changes.

If you're just running one or two projects you may not think that this feature is that important. But again, if you're running dozens or even hundreds of content rich niche sites then you'll really appreciate this fine project overview.

So easy

No there's no longer any excuses for not creating your own web sites and pages. I'm surprised by how easy it is do that in XSitePro.

Everything is visual, so that you don't need to fiddle with the html-code if you don't want to do that.

On the other hand, if you do want to take a look at or edit your html code, you can easily do that.

Half done from the beginning

When you create a new project and new web site in XSitePro, you can choose to use one of the many fine templates included in the program.

By using this feature it'll be really easy for you to create your own web sites - and give them a professional look.

Sometimes I visit web sites that look terrible. It's evident that they're made by someone who just don't know how to make web sites.

Usually, the solution is to hire someone to make your web site and give it a professional look. But that can be quite expensive.

You could of course also take a course on web design. But the problem with doing that is that it's timeconsuming. Besides, it can be expensive too.

When I use XSitePro I can easily and quickly make my own web sites and give them a professional look.

This makes it really easy to create and launch new niche web sites. Imagine the advantage this'll give you over your competition!

No more ommisions

Have you ever gotten an email from one of your visitors, telling you that something doesn't work on your web site? I have to admit that I have.

But when you use XSitePro, with a click of your mouse you can open a report called, To Do List.

This report is one of the coolest and most useful features I've ever seen in a web editor. This To Do List report will show you exactly what you still have to do on your web sites if you want them to work optimally.

And this report in XSitePro will also tell you whether each of the suggested task are critical or not.

You can also open another To Do List report where all the ommisions are categorized by task. This is, if possible, an even more useful feature. By opening this report you can quickly get a really good overview of which tasks you still need to do in order to keep your web sites and pages working correctly and optimally.

I'm very impressed by these features.

Direct uploading

Finally, it's worth mentioning that you can upload (FTP) your web sites and pages directly in XSitePro. You don't need to open another software program (a so called FTP program) in order to upload your sites and pages to the Internet.

You can do that directly in XSitePro.

Wow!

There is one point at which XSitePro really shines compared to most other web editor: You can use XSitePro to create Google Adsense pages - without having leaving XSitePro. That is, you can do it directly in XSitePro.

For example, let's say that you'd like to add a Google Adsense section to all your pages.

Normally you'd have to open your web editor or text editor and then add the individual code that you've gotten from Google's Adsense administration site. Again, if you just have to do this on a couple of pages, it's not that much work - provided of course you know how to make changes to your html-code.

But if you use XSitePro it's really easy to add one or more Google Adsense sections (with ads that earn you money, of course) to your pages.

There are so many other extremely useful features that I can't mention all of them here.

But let me just mention that with XSitePro you can:

  • Add a Google Sitemap to your sites - that is, a sitemap that's especially created with the purpose of getting your sites higher ranked at Google.

And not can you add a Google Sitemap to your sites, you can also easily customize your Google Sitemaps. For example, you can exclude certain pages that you don't want to be on the sitemap.

  • You can also add a 'normal' alphabetical or hierarchical sitemap to your web sites. And you decide where on your site you want to feature a link to your sitemap. You do it just by clicking your mouse once or twice. Cool, don't you think?

  • You can create a link page for your site. And you can do it just by clicking a few buttons. You can also decide where on your site you want links to the link pages to be included: On your navigation menu, on the sitemap, on the main panel footer and/or on the page footer. And again, you can do all this just by clicking your mouse button a few times.

  • You can easily edit your navigation bars.

  • You can create redirect pages. This is a very important feature if you're promoting affiliate programs. But you'll also find it useful if you're doing other kinds of business online.

  • You can add a privacy statement on your sites. And you don't need to write one yourself or pay an expensive laywer to do it. The creators of XSitePro have already made one for you that you can add to your sites immediately, just by clicking the OK-button.

But if you like you can also edit the privacy statement that is included with XSitePro. And you can easily decide where on your sites to place a link to your privacy statements: On your navigation menu, on the sitemap, on the main panel footer and/or on the page footer. And again, you can do all this just by clicking your mouse button a few times.

  • You can change the settings for your robot.txt files. These files are the files that tell the search engines (Google, Alta Vista etc.) what you want them to look for on your web sites, which pages you want to be indexed and be ranked by the search engines. A most useful feature.

  • If you have one or more web scripts that you want to add to your pages, you can easily do so - without having to open your html-code.

  •  You can easily create pop-ups, pop-ins and/or pop-unders directly in XSitePro. And you customize all kinds of specifications about your pops: Their names, types, positions, designs, sizes, headings, fonts, the pages you want them to work on, how often they pop up, add delays, how long they, how they appear etc. Really, really cool!

  • You can quickly create and edit a contact page, if you like.

There's so much many more useful features in XSitePro than I've mentioned here. I've just mentioned these points in order to give you an impression of what this software application can do you.

So much more

There's so much more in this software application that I could mention.

For example, XSitePro has its own affiliate wizard.

You can also import or export your web sites and pages from other web editor programs. If for example you want to edit one of your web sites or pages in Microsoft Frontpage or Dreamweaver you can easily do that.

You can move your web sites from one location on your computer to another - and keep all your settings. This is a great feature.

You can also easily make a backup of your web site. And if you've lost the files you've worked with, you can easily restore you projects if you've taken a backup copy.

Conclusion

After having tested XSitePro my conclusion is that this is a terrific and most impressive software program.

I've used and tested all kinds of web editor programs, but I've never seen one with so many useful features as XSitePro.

I have seen other web editors out there with even more features, but some of these features are unnecessary and as an online marketer you probably won't use these features anyway.

What especially causes me to like XSitePro is that it's obviously created with the busy web entrepreneur in mind. Again, there are web editors with even more features, but XSitePro is especially useful for the busy online marketer who doesn't have the time to waste on irrelevant technical details.

The only minor drawback is that you probably have be willing to put in a couple of hours of learning how to use it optimally. But considering how useful XSitePro is, I think this time is spent wisely.

In other words, I strongly endorse XSitePro as one of the most useful tools for busy online marketers.
