Review
Why
on earth am I reviewing a book on sales?
I
mean, the products I’ve reviewed until now, have primarily
been books and courses either on marketing or product
development.
So
why am I reviewing a book on how to sell?
The
answer is that sales is so intimately related to successful
marketing. I've been walking from door to door myself, selling
books. And this experience has meant a lot to me, when trying
to understand marketing. And it was one of the fathers of copy
writing, Claude Hopkins, who strongly advised his readers to
get acquainted with personal selling in order to become better
at marketing.
And
it was precisely the same Claude Hopkins who once said:
“Copy writing is salesmanship in print.”
In
short, being good at selling is fundamental to your business
success.
And
Mitch Axelrod really knows what he’s talking about. When he
started his own company, he earned about $16.000. Nothing to
write home about, uh? But when he found some of the principles
covered in this course, his profits began to skyrocket. Rather
quickly his profits went to about $100,000 a year. And when he
had found the formula for really becoming successful, he was
able to make the same kind of profit once again, just for
another business of his.
And
since then, Mitch has – according to himself and some of his
clients - been responsible for hundreds of thousands of extra
income. And Mitch gives his formula the credit for his
success.
I
was really amazed when I read what some of the most well known
marketers in the world has said about Mitch Axelrod. Such
marketers as Jay Abraham, Robert G. Allen, Paul Hartunian and
Yanik Silver have given Mitch some really raving testimonials
and endorsements.
Whether
you want to sell your products or services online or offline,
one of the most profitable ways of making a bigger profit, is
to learn how to really sell the way your customers want to
buy. And that’s precisely what Mitch Axelrod claims you’ll
learn in his course.
So
with this knowledge I began reading this course by Mitch
Axelrod. And as I read on, I constantly said to myself:
“Yes, how right that is!” “Wow! This advice alone can be
responsible for thousands and thousands of extra income”,
and so on.
Personally,
I’ve read a LOT of books on how to succeed in sales. Almost
all of them give you a number of selling techniques. They show
you how to contact your prospects and set up an appointment,
how to make a good presentation, how to close the sale, and so
on. And then that’s it.
But
Mitch’s course is very different from most other books and
courses on salesmanship.
But
what I really like about Mitch’s course, is that he goes
much further. Mitch gives you a complete SYSTEM.
He
shows you how success selling is very closely related to your
total lifestyle, your priorities, your management of your
time, your attitude, your thinking habits, your way of
treating other people etc., etc.
So
instead of just giving you a few isolated tips on how to make
a sale, he shows you step-by-step how you can maximise your
chances of succeeding in selling by building up both your own
personality, your overall selling and marketing strategies and
the concrete selling techniques you’re going to use day by
day.
In
other words, Mitch’s thesis is that successful selling is
much more than just a question of mastering a few isolated
techniques. He does give you all the techniques you need. He
shows you how to find prospects, how to arrange meetings with
them, how to qualify them and how to close the deal etc., etc.
But according to Mitch selling is more than just a bunch of
techniques. Successful selling is a way of living. A way of
relating to other people. This is, Mitch says, the change of
paradigm that you need to adjust to if you really want to
succeed. And Mitch shows his readers exactly how to accomplish
that.
One
of the basic principles of Mitch’s sales- and
marketing-philosophy is FOCUSING – focusing on what really
helps you to move forward and succeeding. At the same time
Mitch shows you how to stop spending your time and effort on
that which only wastes your time and energy.
Another
principle Mitch shows you, is how to UNDERSTAND your
customers. The result is that you will get much more satisfied
customers, which in turn will maximise your profits. This is a
very important principle in Mitch’s sales and marketing
philosophy. Instead of just looking upon your customers as
means of getting you some money, Mitch shows you how both you
and your customers will benefit much more if you really find
out how to serve and help your customers. If you know what
your customers want, and how they want to buy what you can
offer, your job as a salesman becomes much easier.
Mitch
has a very inspiring way of conveying his message. He
doesn’t just give you an awful lot of theory. In between the
theory (which is really practical, by the way) he has woven a
lot of real life stories and illustrations which makes his
stuff easier to read, understand and apply.
In
my opinion, Mitch Axelrod has written one of the absolute best
and most important courses I’ve ever read on selling.
His
course is filled with practical information which every
entrepreneur can take and apply to his or her situation. In my
opinion, effective selling is the HEART of successful
entrepreurship whether you sell a product, a service or an
idea, and whether you sell online or offline. If you follow
the advice Mitch is giving you in this course, I don’t doubt
for a moment that you’ll make your business much, much more
profitable and successful.
As
a bonus to “Maximizing Your Sales-Ability” Mitch has
included his e-book, “Sales Alchemy Turning Customers Into
Gold!”. This e-book elaborates on some of the basic
principles in Mitch’s sales- and marketing philosophy. I
found “Sales Alchemy Turning Customers Into Gold!” to very
helpful. This valuable bonus just made it even more clear to
me that Mitch has given a fantastic offer here. He certainly
more than delivers as promised in this course!
Summary
Mitch
Axelrod has written a very important course on how to sell
almost everything. When you get Mitch’s course, you’ll
learn some of the most important ways of becoming more
successful in your business. Even though the course is
primarily on selling in general, most of the principles apply
to Internet Marketing, Direct Marketing and Marketing in
general.
Whether
you sell through the mail, through the Internet, through the
phone or through personal meetings, the solid principles Mitch
gives you in this course can mean that your profits will
skyrocket. That’s how important the information Mitch shows
you here, is.
If
you want to go a step beyond the standard marketing and
selling advice you normally get, this is the course for you to
invest in. I promise you that you won’t regret it. I’m
really impressed by this course.
