How To Use Your Business Card
To Generate Bucket Loads Of Customers

by Michael Ross, author, direct marketer and consultant

"Any fool can learn from his or her own mistakes. Smart people learn from the mistakes of others. Really smart people learn from the success of others."

This tip is for people that sell a product or service locally. It is very easy, and extremely cheap to implement. And gets you in front of your prospects when they are thinking about your product or service.

All you do is go to your local library or book store and insert your business card between the pages of all the books that have the same subject matter as your product or service.

Let me give you an example.

Lets say you own a pet shop. Well, you put your business card between the pages of all the books on dogs, cats, fish, birds and so on.

But you don't need to own a pet shop to use the example above. If you own a dog washing service you could do the same thing (although you'd only put your card in the books about dogs).

Can you see how this works?

Disposal stores can put cards in camping books, books on being self-sufficient, four wheel drive books and so on.

If you own a hardware store you could put your cards in DIY books, decorating books and so on.

Dry cleaners can put cards in sewing books, pattern books, fashion books and so on.

See how easy this is?

But you know what? You don't just have to limit yourself to the library or book stores. You could also put your card in magazines wherever they are sold.

Just go down to wherever magazines are sold, pick up the ones that are related to your product or service, thumb them open and pop in your card. Then move onto the next magazine and so on.

If you owned a Gym, you could put your cards in all the health magazines, body building magazines, martial arts magazines, and so on.

Besides being an easy and cheap way to market, it gets you in front of the people most likely to be your customers - local people who are interested now!

Try this, it works!

May the success you achieve be a direct result of the effort you put in!!
