If you don't get enough orders from your web site, the answer is to get more visitors!

Right?

No, wrong!

Or, that's what Kim Wingate says in her report, "Turning Visits Into Action - Proven strategies, tactics, and techniques for improving Web site conversion ratios."

How often have you heard some Internet marketing expert tell you that more traffic is the way to get more orders. We've gotten so used to hearing it that most web marketers take it for granted that more traffic is the solution to too few orders.

This is simply wrong, Kim says. In order to get more traffic you usually have to pay with either your time (for instance writing articles to ezines) or your money (for instance buying banners). Often both.

Not only is it often difficult to get more traffic, the results can also be disappointing. If, for instance, the additional traffic you get, consists of less targeted visitors, it doesn't help you much.

What is the solution then?

- To turn more of your present visitors into customers, Kim says.

And in the main part of her report, Kim shows how to do exactly that. She points to different ways of improving your web site so that more of your visitors will order your products. Most of the improvements Kim suggests, can be effectuated in just a few days. Some of them can even be made in a couple of hours.

Some of the improvements Kim suggests, are quite small, and they may at first seem unimportant. But as Kim shows, the effect of these improvements may be dramatic.

Throughout the report, Kim gives a lot of real life illustrations of how these techniques work successfully when implemented.

Overall, Kim's method can be summarised with these words: Listen to your visitors and customers, and take the consequence of their feedback.

Consequently, Kim Wingate places a heavy emphasis on using web statistics much more than many web masters currently do.

But Kim has found an even more helpful (but almost totally neglected) tool for mapping how a typical visitor to your site acts on your site. I think it would be unfair to reveal what this technique is, here. But let me just say that it's extremely simple. Anyone can use it, and the best is that it's completely free.

In your web stats and the other tool/technique Kim describes, you have a golden key to improving your site according to the actual wishes of your customers. And when you do that, the result will usually be more loyal customers and thus more orders.

But these two tools are just a few of the tools and techniques Kim Wingate gives you in "Turning Visits Into Action." Kim gives you several other very helpful tools and techniques for "listening" to your customers and making the necessary improvements.

Another very interesting part of Kim's report, is her guide on how to compete on your price. The conclusions Kim is coming to here, may really surprise you.

I really like Kim's report. It's very factual but never boring. Actually I found it quite easy to read.

What I particularly like about Kim's report, is that all her strategies, techniques and recommendations of tools is based upon empirical facts and evidence. Her strategies are not built upon guesswork, but upon what has proven to work in real life.

If you hate numbers and statistics, you may think that this report contains too much of that kind of stuff. But personally, I think that Kim has tried to make even this stuff easy to understand and follow.

To complete the teachings of this report, I would suggest that you supplement it's information with the information of, for instance, Yanik Silvers' two courses, "Instant Sales Letters" and "Instant Internet Profits". By doing that you'll have a really strong cocktail.

I still think it's a good idea to get more traffic to your web site, and I am sure Kim agrees. But I also totally agree that it often makes much more sense to improve your web site in order to turn more of your visitors into customers. You certainly don't need to be a mathematical genius to understand and implement the information Kim gives you. Far from it!

Of course it sometime takes some time and effort to improve your web site. But as Kim says, if you've done it once, you'll reap the benefits for a long time. And, as I've already said, many of the improvements are quite easy to effectuate.

At the end of "Turning Visits Into Action", Kim has a very useful summary of her suggestions for improving your web site. This makes it easy to find the information you need, after having gone through the report.

Summary

I really like this report by Kim Wingate. As I've said above, it's built on factual research, and not upon some guesswork by a marketing expert that's far away from the "real" world, as we say.

Kim offers a wealth of easy-to-apply improvements of any web site. Improvements that can make the conversion ratio of many web sites much higher.

The report is easy to read, and Kim takes the time to give a lot of helpful illustrations on how to follow her advice. And most of her advice is rather easy to follow, and it doesn't need to take very much time.

I definitely think this report is worth the money. Personally, I look forward to use some of the techniques Kim offers her readers in this report.
