Description and evaluation

This book is simply a classic in the field!

Period!

No hype here!

"Writer's utopia formula report" is simply a "must-book" for every person who wants to learn the secrets of being a successful information publisher and marketer!

Jerry teaches you how to write reports, books etc. and sell them through classfied ads. He shows his readers all the fundamental things about starting up an information business. But in doing this

And that's precisely one of the things I really like about Jerry's book, is his way of making everything personal and simple. You get the feeling that Jerry is sitting there right in front of you, generously sharing with you experience after experience, lesson after lesson how to succeed in the information business.

Jerry is never dry or boring. He constantly speaks with you, his reader, not only to you. Whenever I read in Jerry's book, I feel that Jerry no only talks about some fine theories, but he has walked all the way himself.

And as I said Jerry really makes everything simple to understand for you. In oppostion to some other authors of books on selling information, Jerry withstands the temptation to make everything more complicated than it actually is. He refrains from trying to sound "professionally".

At the same time Jerry isn't superficial. He doesn't just give you some general tips and advices, without going into the details of how to successfully write and sell your own information products.

The aim of "Writer's utopia formula report" is to show the readers, and that's you, how to make information products from the kitchen table. It's aim is further to show you how to market these products in a very simple way.

This doesn't mean that Jerry oversimplifies things, or that he tries to give you the impression that it is easier to succeed as an infopreneur than it in fact is. All the way you sense that he is honest enough to tell you the truth about the pitfalls you will meet as an information marketer.

Jerry's book isn't just like all the other books out there on Direct Marketing and selling information products. No, in this book you will get some advices that I think you will look in vain for in most other books, tapes, courses etc. on producing and selling information products. He gives you some advices that really makes you think: "This man knows what he is talking about. I can feel that he himself has made those very mistakes he warns me against doing. I can feel that he personally has experienced that his advice is the way to success.

Of course you can't cover everything in a book on about 70 (???) pages. Neither does Jerry claim to do so. He just shows you the steps that has been so helpful to himself and many others. Consequently I would advice you to supplement this book with some of the other fine books on the information business. But Jerry Buchanan's book is certainly a good starting point.

Jerry's book is a little bit outdated on a few subjects. Especially he misses out on the enormous impact computers and the Internet has had on the modern entrepreneur and information marketer. This is, of course, due to the fact that Jerry's book is written before the age of the computers.

Don't let this scare you, though, from buying Jerry's book. Jerry treats so many fundamental subjects that I think so to say any information marketer will be able to find some very valuable pearls in his book.

Jerry also has a newer book, called "Profitable self-publishing", which is an update on some of the thought in "Writer's utopia formula report". "Profitable self-publishing" is also very good). You can read the review of "Profitable self-publishing" by clicking here.

By the way, I bought my own personal copy of "Writer's utopia formula report" directly through Jerry. Though he is now an elder man, Jerry is still active as an information publisher. Jerry once told me that he has four computers, but unfortunately he doesn't have a website. And so far as I know, you can't buy his books anywhere on the Internet. I once tried to buy his books through Amazon, but they couldn't get the books for me. Finally I got Jerrys books through Jerry himself. You could also try writing Jerry by snail-mail if you want to order his book.

I'm sad to say that Jerry Buchanan died some time ago. Jerry Buchanan was a master marketer, and I talked with him several times on the phone. He will be missed by his many friends and students.
