"AdWord Analyzer"

Review

What does this software program do?

AdWord Analyzer is a software program that helps you to find keywords that are relevant to your web site, your product or service.

But how important is it to find relevant keywords?

The answer is: Extremely important.

If you want to get a lot of orders, you’ll have to drive traffic to your offer – whether you promote it from you own web site or in some other way.

But it’s not enough to drive traffic to your web site. Just any kind of traffic won’t help you. No, you have to drive targeted traffic to your web site.

And that’s precisely the reason why it’s so important to build a list of targeted keywords. Targeted keywords are a reflection of what your potential customers are looking for. So, if you have a good list of targeted keywords, and if you can somehow measure how popular each of them is, you have taken a first, important step towards driving traffic to your web site.

But how do you build a list of targeted keywords? That’s one of the biggest challenges to most Internet marketers. There are of course already hundreds of web sites, membership sites etc. that promise to help you to build your keyword list. Some of them are free, others are fee-based.

One of the best and most popular is http://www.wordtracker.com, which has gotten a very good – and well deserved - reputation. The problem is just that it may be a little bit expensive if you don’t have a lot of money already to invest into your business.

Just recently I read about Jeff Alderson’s new software program, AdWord Analyzer.

This software program promised to help you to build your own highly targeted keyword list.

Of course I immediately got interested and bought the software.

But does AdWord Analyzer deliver as promised?

Before I answer that question, allow me to tell you a little bit about the ease of installing this software.

How easy is it to install this software?

Unlike some software applications, AdWord Analyzer is extremely easy to set up. As soon as you’ve bought the software, you’re forwarded to the download page. After you’ve downloaded the program, you just double-click the .exe file and follow the instructions. When you’ve done that you’re ready to go ahead. In the search field, just enter any word or words (phrase) you’re interested in. And immediately AdWord Analyzer will begin to generate all kinds of related keywords.

The only problem I have had with AdWord Analyzer is in connection with my Firewall. But this kind of problem rather often happens when I install a new software program. You’ve probably experienced it too.

The problem was that at first my Norton Firewall program blocked AdWord Analyzer when I tried to run a new search. Nothing happened!

However, this problem is easily solved. I just opened my Norton Firewall program and set up a separate rule of AdWord Analyzer. Just give the program the correct permissions, and then move the program to the top of the programs on your Firewall list. It took a couple of minutes, and then AdWord Analyzer worked like a dream.

How good is this software?

What I really like about AdWord Analyzer, is that it doesn’t just generated keywords for you. No, in addition to the keywords, AdWord Analyzer also shows you exactly how many searched each particular keyword has been searched on Overture.com during the last month, the number of (competing) web sites for each keyword, the ratio between the number of web sites and the number of searches, the number of Google campaigns and the number of Overture campaigns.

This combination of information is really, really useful. Just by taking a quick look at the results generated by AdWord Analyzer, you can quickly get a fairly good estimate over how relevant and hot each of the keywords are.

And what makes AdWord Analyzer even better: You can click on the top of each of the columns (with the results mentioned above), and all the results will automatically be ordered in either ascending or descending order.

For example, let’s say that you’d like to see which one of all the keywords, you’ve generated, receives the largest number of searches. That is, which keyword is most popular among your potential customers? Just click on the top of the “Searches” column, and all the keyword results will instantly be ordered in ascending or descending order. Then you can easily cross check with the Google campaigns and the Overture campaigns columns and see if you’ve found a keyword for which you can buy cheap ads.

All the resulting numbers can be clicked on.

Thus, if you find one of the keywords particularly interesting, just click on that particular keyword, and a new search window will pop up and AdWord Analyzer will automatically begin to generate new keywords related to the keyword you clicked on.

This means that you can expand and expand on your searches.

If you click on one of the numbers in the columns listing Google and Overture campaigns, your browser will automatically open and generate the corresponding search page on either Google.com or Overture.com. Thus, you can easily get a quick view over competing ads.

Finally, after you’ve generated your keywords, you can export all your keyword results in either .CSV format (MS Excel) or HTML format.

Besides, you can easily save all your keywords just by clicking on a button.

Besides that, what do you like or dislike about this software?

So often, the problem with many software applications is that the navigation is too bad. It’s difficult to get a good overview over all functions.

But this definitely doesn’t apply to AdWord Analyzer!

The interface in AdWord Analyzer looks clean and professional, and it’s very easy to navigate around and find exactly the function you want to use.

In short, AdWord Analyzer is extremely easy to use, and very effective.

But even if you run into a problem with the program, you can easily find help. Just click on the Help button at the top of the interface, and the user manual will immediately open up in a new window.

BTW, the user manual is much more than just a user manual. Jeff Alderson also gives you some valuable advice on how you can use the results you get from AdWord Analyzer. This is a very valuable help which makes the product even more valuable.

Overall assessment

AdWord Analyzer is one of the best and most useful software programs I’ve bought.

I don’t doubt that this simple, yet brilliant, program will earn it’s own price back to you many times over.

I’ll definitely look out for coming software programs by Jeff Alderson.

I simply cannot recommend and praise this software program highly enough! But it now before your competitor does!
