Review
In my opinion this book belongs
to the top of the best books on creating and selling
information products. I personally found it very, very helpful
when I read it a couple of years ago.
One of the strongest assets of
Don's book, is his practical, step-by-step descriptions on how
anybody can create a saleable product, even if you don't feel
you have enough expertise to write a report or book.
What makes this book especially
helpful is...
1) that it is so detailed
2) that it is so realistic in its description of the life as
an infopreneur
Don Massey really tell you the
whole story as it is. And all the way you feel that you're
sitting in front of an experienced direct marketer, who has
walked the road step-by-step in front of you.
Don is not afraid of tearing
down some of the many, widespread, false illusions about the
mail order business. But at the same time he shows you how you
can really succeed.
In this book you'll all the
fundamental steps about finding a subject to create
information products on, how to write your own manuals and
reports, how to market your products, how to write successful
ads etc. etc.
The only criticism I have on
this book, is that it may seem slightly dated on some
subjects. For instance Don doesn't describe the use of voice
mail in connection with classified ads. Besides he just barely
touches the use of the Internet in infopreneuring.
BUT... these criticisms does
not in any way subtract from the fact that this manual is one
of the very, very best guides for the new infopreneur.
My advice is: Buy it as soon as
you possibly can - and read and re-read every word in it!
This book is is worth it's
price many times over.
