However, what makes PromoBuddy so useful is that it's tailormade to suit the needs of an Internet marketer. Everything is ready to use. You don't need to spend a lot of time on setting up new databases, tables and formulas. All you have to do is to find the tool that suits your need and then begin to use it.

The enclosed help-file, which you get when you buy this product, is really fine. So often the help files you get with software programs are either too superficial or too detailed and exhaustive. The help-file you get with PromoBuddy is concise and right to the point. Besides, the illustrations make it easy to understand the written instructions.

And that precisely what generally characterizes PromoBuddy: Unlike some of the larger database programs, PromoBuddy has just the features and functions that you need. And the programmer, Detlev Reimer, has customized the program so that it has exactly those features which are most useful to an active Internet marketer.

BTW, I just got an email from another wellknown marketer announcing another database software program. I haven't bought or tried out this software yet. I visited the website with sales letter and read the description of this software and saw the screen-shots on the sales letter page. And compared with PromoBuddy, it's evident that PromoBuddy has many more features and functions than the other database program. Besides, PromoBuddy has a much nicer look. PromoBuddy is a little bit more expensive than the other database program, but I absolutely think it's worth the money.

Finally, I haven't found any bugs in PromoBuddy. Maybe there is. I just didn't find any. The program works absolutely fine. PromoBuddy is based on one of the most popular larger database programs, FileMaker, which has a proven record. This fact also means that there's a lot of useful features in PromoBuddy which you normally only expect to get from larger software products, such as the ability to import and export data, search your records, list your records in different views, see your data in preview and browser mode, sort your records, shortkeys for the most common tasks, format the text according to your individual wants, zoom in and out, etc. etc.

The only criticism I have of PromoBuddy is that you can't add new (overall) categories to the existing. You're limited to using the ones that Detlev Reimer has already created. These categories probably pretty much cover most of your needs. But naturally, it would have been even better if you could yourself customize your databases even more.

Overall assessment

Seldom have I been so positively surprised by a software product. In my opinion Detlev Reimer has produced one of the most useful software programs for any active Internet marketer, that I've yet seen.

If you use this program on a regular basis you'll no longer have to search and search in vain for lost username, passwords, or have to open up all your ebooks in order to remember their main contents. You'll have easy access to all your contacts, resources, tools and web sites (both your own and those of others) on the Internet.

Will I delete MS Access from my computer after having gotten PromoBuddy? No. Is PromoBuddy a good product? Absolutely! It's one of the best and most useful software products I've yet found on the Internet. Will I use PromoBuddy to solve all my database problems? No, but it's an excellent tool for solving most of the database problems in an Internet business. Will I use PromoBuddy in my business? You bet I will.

For a couple of the database tasks that PromoBuddy can solve, I'll probably still use some of the other software products I already have. This applies to my bookmarks where I use an excellent product called LinkStash. And, I'll still supplement PromoBuddy with MS Access. After all, Access has some features that this software doesn't have. But that's precisely that point. You see, when you use PromoBuddy you get exactly what you need, not a lot of confusing technical features and functions that most people don't need at all. Besides, you there's nothing to set up. You can use PromoBuddy immediately. So, for most of the database tasks I'll probably use PromoBuddy in the future.

In short, if you get the impression that I'm really positive about this product, you're totally right. It's a fantastic product, and I strongly recommend that you invest in it as soon as possible. You'll thank me that you did! It's that good.
