Important note:
This is an impartial and critical product-review - not a sales letter or an ad!

  • Complete graphics (ecovers etc.) to market the products.

Review

There's no doubt about it: Information products with private label rights are hot right now. Just in case you wonder what 'private label rights' (PLR) means, here's a short explanation: PLR means that you can not only reprint and resell the product, but you can also more or less customize and change the product before you resell it.

In some cases PLR just means that you can change minor parts and details of the product but that you can't change the content itself.

But in other cases PLR also means that you can practically change anything in the product you've bought. This is the more common meaning, and it's in this sense that you get the PLR when you buy "Marketing Rush" by Chris Elliott. You can practically change everything in this series of books, from the author name to the content itself.

In other words, when you own this package you can:

  • Resell the ebooks just as they are.
  • Change the content of the ebooks.
  • Sell the reprint rights to the ebooks.
  • Sell private labeling and banding licenses to the products.

In other words, owning this package is a close as you can come to owning your own information products that you've written and created yourself.

In many cases the products you get with PLR isn't worth very much. The content in these PLR products is often superficial and rather generic.

Was this also the case with "Marketing Rush", or is it an exception to the general impression that I've gotten of many PLR products?

Before I answer that question, I'll give you a quick overview of what you get when you buy "Marketing Rush" by Chris Elliott.

The content of this package

"Marketing Rush" is a big product. However, you can download it immediately after you've bought it. So, there's no need to wait for a CD-rom or DVD to arrive.

The books are apparently not written by a ghost-writer but instead written by Chris Elliott himself and his business partner, Mo Wisniewski.

The huge pacakge consists of 14 ebooks or special reports. Here's an overview of the books:

  • Product # 1 - Presentation For Online Profits In 2006 (97 pages)
  • Product # 2 - Increase Your Profits 10 Fold In 15 Days With The *Whole* Truth About Backend Sales (51 pages)
  • Product # 3 - The Secret Mechanics Of Lightning Fast Product Creation & Innvation In 2006 (92 pages)
  • Product # 4 - Joint Ventures Revealed Million Dollar Deals For The One Man Operation (100 pages)
  • Product # 5 - A Step By Step Guide To Explosive Product Launches (61 pages)
  • Product # 6 - The Top 15 Most Profitable Online Business Questions - Answered Once And For All (74 pages)
  • Product # 7 - Advanced Pricing Strategies For Online Business- Revealed (47 pages)
  • Product # 8 - An Almost Endless Supply Of Targeted Customers For Your Business Through No Cost Affiliate Tactics (60 pages)
  • Product # 9 - A Step By Step Guide To Writing High Response Sales Letters - Even If You've Never Written One Before (58 pages)
  • Product # 10 - List Building And Management Strategies For The Online Marketer In A Rush (81 pages)
  • Product # 11 - Tap Into An Almost Neverending Pool Of Customers For Your Products - Without Having To Spend A Penny (63 pages)
  • Product # 12 The Power Of Hindsight - 12 Years Of Online Marketing Exprience Is Now At Your Disposal (51 pages)
  • Product # 13 - The Art Of The Successful Joint Venture (100 pages)
  • Product # 14 - 50 Things The Most Successful Men and Women Have In Common (97 pages)

You both get these ebooks and special reports in PDF-format and MS Word-format. This means that you can either sell the books as they are, in PDF-format, or you can edit and revise them to turn them into your unique information products.

Several of the ebooks more than 100 pages, so they're regular ebooks. We're not just talking about short 20-30 page ebooks or reports.

Besides, when you read the titles and sub-titles of these books, you'll see that they pretty much cover the most important aspects of marketing an online business. Chris Elliott shows you what'll make a real, positive difference in marketing your Internet business.

In addition to the the ebooks you also get the complete graphic package (ecovers, sales letter graphics etc.) that you can use to market the products.

So, this is a pretty huge package with everything you need to get started marketing your own information products, even though you haven't written a word yourself.

And now back to the question I asked a bit earlier: Is this package any good? What about the quality of these ebooks?

The quality of the product

As you can probably imagine I was very excited to see if these products were worth anything or if they were just the typical nonsense you get so many other places.

In the sales letter for "Marketing Rush" Chris Elliott emphasizes that the products have a really high quality and are not the typical, superficial ebooks that you get elsewhere.

I've now gone through all the books, and here is my conclusion...

I'm very, very surprised by how good the information in the books is. In fact, the quality is so good that each of the books could easily be sold for $50 or more. The information is much, much better than you would normally suspect it to be when you buy a product with full PLR included.

Let me just give you one example:

In book #6, "The Top 15 Most Profitable Online Business Questions - Answered Once And For All", Chris Elliott really helps his readers to clear up much of the confusion that surrounds marketing an online business.

He answers such common questions as, "How do I get hits to my site?", "How do I build my list?" and, "How are people making 20k+ a month? I can't get near that figure."

But he also goes on to answer some more advanced questions like, "Why won't my affiliates sell?" and, "Why can't I score any JV's?"

In addition to these factual questions, Chris Elliott also answers some questions that have a more psycholocial character: "I'm worried that I won't succeed."

If you've been active in online marketing, I'm sure you've been wondering about some of these questions at one point or another.

Chris' answers are right to the point. They're not overly detailed, but several of them take up several pages. And they're detailed enough to give you a very good and concrete idea about what to do to solve your problems. And if you want to get the step-by-step details, you can find them in the other books you get in the "Marketing Rush" package.

In other words, I think that Chris Elliott does a really good job at answering the questions.

When you read through the books, you notice that they're apparently written from a personal point of view. You'll often find phrases like:

"The reason I’m writing this right now is because of my personal experience and general attraction to this subject." (Actual quotation from ebook #1: "Presentation For Online Profits In 2006" p. 25).

And this is the general impression I have of these books: They are really written by someone who's personally done what he writes about.

The content seems to be original. Of course much of it is covered in other books and courses, but all the way it seems like the information is based on Chris Elliott's and Mo Wisniewski's own business experience.

The books are structured pretty much the same way: First you'll get an introduction. Then comes an overview of the goals of each section. Then comes the main content of each section, and finally you'll get a summary of what's been covered.

This is just a raw overview of the general structure of the books. But my general impression is that the books are structured and well organized.

The reason I mention this is that it can be quite annoying to read a book that is very unstructured and disorganized. But this is not the case here.

Overall assessment

This product gets my highest recommendations. I'm really surprised by the quality of this product. This does of course not mean that there isn't more to say on the subjects that Chris Elliott covers in these books. But it means that you'll almost certainly find the content really useful if you want to build and run your own, successful online business. Yes, much of the information easily applies to offline businesses too.

The complete "Marketing Rush" package is sold as a firesale product (you know, the price increases over a certain number of days), but even at the most expensive price, $297, it's absolutely a steal. Even without the PLR the books could easily cost more than what Chris and Mo charge for them.

I have only good things to say about this unique package and offer.

So, my conclusion is that I give this package my strong recommendations.
