Review
Information is probably the easiest product to sell on the Internet -
whether it's delivered in digital or physical format.
And even though 'there's no end to the books that are written' it seems like
people are more willing to buy information than ever. Whether this is a good
or a bad sign of how well our present culture is thriving is another
discussion.
But there is no debate over whether people want more information or not.
Already written dozens and dozens of books on how to create your own ebooks.
Is this one different? One of the co-authors of this book is quite
prominent. I'm of course talking about Joe Vitale, author of numerous books,
articles and reports. The look of the book is really good and
professional. It looks 'clean' and it's easy to get a good view over the
content. What do you get? If you order Bill
Hibbler's course, "The Ultimate Guide to Creating Moneymaking Ebooks", you
get a main manual that is written by Bill Hibbler himself. Besides,
you get two bonus reports, "Automated eBay Sales" by Stephan Miller, and
"How My Book Became An Amazon #1 Bestseller in 48 Hours" by Mark Joyner.
The main manual, "The Ultimate Guide to Creating Moneymaking Ebooks" by Bill
Hibbler, is easy to read and understand. The language flows nicely, and Bill
pretty much cover everything you need to get started.
How good - or bad - is this product? "The Ultimate Guide to
Creating Moneymaking Ebooks" is a step-by-step guide to creating your own
ebooks. One thing I really like in Bill Hibbler's guide is the point
he's making, that you don't need to write an ebook. Most people
find writing someting to be hard work. But there are other ways to creating
ebooks, says Bill Hibbler. One of the most used ways of creating
information products is to find an expert on your topic who's willing to let
you interview him or her. Then after the interview you can sell both the
audio interview and the transcription of the interview. Another
way is to use speech (or voice) recognition software. And yet another
way is to arrange a teleseminar and then record that seminar. But how
do you actually do it? Bill Hibbler gives you a really good
introduction to all three methods (plus a couple or so more) in chapter
three of the main manual. You get enough details to get started and
keep going, but Bill doesn't bury you in so many technical details that you
feel overwhelmed. Bill Hibbler also covers what you ought to put into
an informal agreement with the experts you interview, which software to use
if you decide to try speech recognition, where to find people who'll
transcribe your interviews etc. In short, you get the information that
you need to apply these methods to your information business. This is
a really good part of the book, as precisely this part of creating
information products is something that most people find hard to do.
But I think most people will find Bill Hibbler's advice really helpful and
easy to apply. Besides, Bill Hibbler has included a really fine and
helpful article by Pat O'Bryan. In this article Pat O'Bryan shares how he
personally learnt to write his own ebooks. Pat had a background in music,
and at first he didn't have a clue how to write books. Then he discovered a
few really helpful tips on how to make writing much easier. You can read the
rest of Pat's story in chapter three of "The Ultimate Guide to
Creating Moneymaking Ebooks". This is really a fine article. But Bill
Hibbler covers so much more than just the creation process. One
mistake most (new but also many more experienced) authors and information
marketers make is that they find a promising idea for their product, and
then they just jump ahead and begin creating it. Bill shows you how to
turn this around and maximize your chances of succeeding with your product
ideas. Instead of first picking product ideas, create your products
and then finally promote them, Bill Hibbler advices you to first find your
customers - - before your pick your product ideas, create your products and
begin promoting them. One of the methods Bill Hibbler uses to test new
product ideas, is selling through eBay.com. Besides, in the enclosed
bonus report, "Automated eBay Sales" Stephan Miller elaborates on how to
sell digital products on eBay.com. This is a fine bonus to the main ebook.
Bill Hibbler also covers how to find the best format in which to publish
your book. It'll probably not come as a surprise to you that one of
the formats Bill recommends, is the popular PDF-format. But just how
do you publish your book in PDF-format without breaking your bankaccount?
After all, buying Acrobat (Writer, Destiller etc.), Adobe's PDF generating
software application, will cost you several hundred dollars. Bill
Hibbler shows you a way to solve this problem. Until now I've personally
used Adobe Acrobat, but after having read Bill's advice, I decided to change
to his suggested solution. Bill Hibbler covers os much more in "The
Ultimate Guide to Creating Moneymaking Ebooks." For example, he shows
you how to determine the best price for your ebook, how to deal with the
competion, how to market your ebook etc. All in all, you get a really
good overview of how to profit from creating and publishing your own ebooks. Overall assessment
In my opinon "The Ultimate Guide to Creating Moneymaking Ebooks" is a
really fine product. You get a lot in this book. The author covers
pretty much everything you need to launch your own successful ebook
campaign. "The Ultimate Guide to Creating Moneymaking Ebooks" is a
very readable book. It reads like a dream and it's never boring. At
the same time Bill Hibbler never looses hold of the nitty gritty details
that you need to get the job done. You'll feel really well prepared to
create your own successful ebook after having read this fine book.
