Review

”Money and Power – An Interview With Allen Says” is, as the title also says, an interview with top Internet marketer, Allen Says.

Most of you probably know Allen Says from his many reports, ebooks, his membership site (“Internet Marketing Warriors”, which you get access to as a bonus to this report) and from his hosting company (Host4Profit.com).

In the interview Allen Says ad Bryan Kumar cover a lot of important questions about how to become really successful selling electronic information and software on the Internet.

Allen Says share how he started his now famous “Internet Marketing Warriors” membership site. He shares the methods and techniques he used to turn this membership site and his other products into highly successful ventures.

I really like this report.

Allen Says really shares a lot of valuable information about what has made himself so successful.

Personally, I think Allen Says has one of the most engaging and readable writing styles of all the writers who write for the Internet Marketing niche. His points and arguments are clear and right to the point, and he always seem to have a really interesting, real-life story to illustrate and support his points and arguments.

I don’t agree 100% with what Allen Says says about the so called ‘saturation myth’. Allen Says don’t think a potential ebook market on the Internet will ever be saturated.

I totally agree with Allen Says that this is seldom the case. You can almost always sell more ebooks to any market.

However, when we’re talking about a particular ebook - such as some of Allen Says own ebooks which come with resell rights - I think that the market at some point will be more or less saturated. Sales may never totally stop. It’ll probably always be possible to sell a few more copies of any ebook. But the market will probably reach a point at which it’ll be exceedingly difficult to make a solid profit from a particular ebook. If you’re going to sell enough copies of that ebook to make a real profit, you’ll have to put an undue amount of work into marketing that book.

So, I don’t agree completely with Allen Says on this point, though I totally agree with him that all the talk about ‘saturated markets’ are usually just one big myth.

However, my only really serious criticism is the New Age World View which Allen Says seems to base some of his thoughts about success and motivation. Some of what he says concerning these subjects is really good. But some of it seems to have its roots in a New Age World View, represented by the so called mind cults. This view is again based on an ‘eastern’ (Hinduism and Buddhism) World View and understanding of life. Now, everyone is free to have his or her own convictions on this point, but personally I think this is a very dangerous and misleading trend – not only from a pure Christian point of view, but also from a psychological point of view.

Finally, I’d like to commend the excellent interviewing questions by Bryan Kumar. The interview seems like a real, deep conversation – and not like one of these stereotype interviews you often encounter in other ebooks. Well done, Bryan Kumar!

Overall assessment

Despite a few critical comments, I think this is a really valuable interview. The advice Allen Says gives on marketing and product development, is very, very valuable.

And if you look away from the critical comments, I think this is the best interview I’ve read on the subject of general Internet Marketing.

In short, you’ll learn a lot from this interview.
